Interested in owning a piece of art you see here?
Most of the studio art pictured on this site is now in someone else’s collection, either because they commissioned it originally or because they bought it here or from a gallery. However, a few pieces are still in my possession, and those are for sale. They are designated, not surprisingly, by the word “Available,” along with the size in inches and the price. If you’re interested in any of them, send me a message with the form below. They can be shipped immediately (provided I’m at home).
Interested in commissioning a piece of art?
The subject matter can be literally anything you want. Commissions I’ve been given in the past range from “Anything you feel like painting” to “I’ve got a photograph that I want rendered as a painting.” People with whom I’ve traveled often want an image deriving from a trip we did together, sometimes inspired by a sketch they saw me do. The size and the medium are also up to you.
Then I give you an estimate of what it will cost, based entirely on my guess at how much time it will take me, plus approximate shipping costs. I can also give an estimate of when I can have it ready…patience is sometimes required, because I travel a lot. If the project is large or complex, I will send a rough draft image along the way for your approval. When it’s done, I pack it up and mail it to you. Just the artwork itself; no frame or glass to complicate things. Oh, and then you send me a check—let’s not forget that part!
Be in touch.
